Dance on a sunday.

I'm crippled, and it appears I will have to 'take it easy' for a few days. My paramour says this likes it's nothing. But I am like Rainman when it comes to my daily routine. Taking it easy to me means having nowt to do. I"m going to freak out. So to combat the stress of 'taking it easy' I have decided to douse myself liberally in movies.
Here, I hope this brightens your day as much as it brightened mine.

Good stuff.
Sorry about your having to stay put. Since you are bound to be bored, you could, if you were so inclined, explain to me what you do for a living. I am horrendously jealous that you get to stay home!!
Hope you are better very soon.

Chumlies, this is one of my all time favourite movies and that y'all love it warms the cockles of my black heart. Who could not love the dude, man.
Charmingly, I would love to tell you what it is I do for a living, but I fear it would ruin whatever image you've built up in your sweet head. But I understand your jealously regarding the home thing, even I hug myself daily as I sit in my jammies at one in the afternoon, not dealing with HR.

Cheers Dahlin'!
I'm going to bed now with a cheese sammich and a book called The Day Watch ( part two of the Night Watch trilogy) and the Culture from The Times. I suspect I'll dream of bowling and people screaming 'I FUCK JU UP! YA, I FUCK JU UP!"
Yeah!

ohhh I hear you. I once had to spend six weeks flat on my back in hospital. I am now very accomplished in the fine art of making paper darts, a skill the nursing staff weren't so keen on me perfecting as my darts were made from the daily menus. But try it, there is something quite satisfying about making a great paper dart.

What a talent!
I am now an accomplished whinger and moaner. No darts have been made but there have been shuffles and forlorn limpings. Six weeks flat sounds awful and much more serious, I would need to put into a medically induced coma for such an ordeal-something I"d imagine the nurses would quite cheerfully do after listening to me for a day.
