Pain.

No seriously, this picture made my eye scrunch up and my ass clench in way it has never done before. Not even eating bad melon made me suffer this way.

Oh! Oh! Oh!

For the love of God, that's got to hurt. And it looks so wrong!

Run like the wind tomorrow, Toots - then rum, that's right rum like the wind tomorrow night.

You're out on a bit of knees up, feeling a bit horny, next thing you're in hospital needing stitches.... sounds like the average weekend.

It certainly won't be a 'take two Panadol and lie down' jobie. But then is you want to run ahead of a massive beast with horns, then you got to take your knocks/horns in the leg.

What ho Chumleys! I'm off in 10 minutes. I must really like this running lark I was awake half an hour before the alarm plotting my music. And guess what? It's not raining, in fact, now and then the clouds part and there some bright light thingie, whatever that is. It's warm, sort of yellow?

Annie, whatever he was expecting, the great big eegit, he wasn't expecting that*
I now have a sunburned forehead. Is there no end to the trickysy surprises of the Irish summer?
Run was ace, weather unexpectdedly beautiful. I ran well right up to the 3.5 mile mark when a gal leaping out of the way of one of the pace bikes clipped me in the shoulder making me stumble onto the bank and twist my ankle.
It wasn't her fault and she was most apologetic and I ran on anyway, but I was favouring my foot a bit. As soon as I crossed the line I was wincing like a crab and even the walk back to castleknock college did nothing to ease it out. Might have a slight sprain, nothing major, but how fucking typical that the most simplest of things-like a shoulder bump- can cause pain? Honestly, a spectacular fall is one thing and a crackingly good rum conversation, but a shoulder bump? Pah!
I am a dweeb.
