Motivation for Fatcats.

A satdee gym jamborie of exercise.
Weights, yes sir, Concentrating on upper back and arms.
3x 10 rows each arm-15k
flys, 5kx3x1o
Bicep curls, 2x10 sets at 8 k , 1x10 at 10k
Lats 3x10 x 35 k each,
Tripcep pull downs 3x10 also 35k each.
Dumbell pullover 3x15 at 8k, ouch on stomach.
125 dips off off bench, broken into sets of 25 each.
Finished off with 5000 metre row and 2k jog at 5 incline on treadmill to simulate hill.

Feeling fine, arms are a bit useless at the mo, but tomorrow is my 20k run so I needed to give my legs a bit of a break.
Home now, cross and hungry. The very worst way to be.

UPDATE! Crank be gone. I'm going into town to buy new jeans, then meet up with the paramour to eat a steak bigger than my head. Golly the paramour is clever, with very nice arms. I believe I might even smooch him.

Miss Cat you are superb with the weight training I just cannot do it, for there is more strength in a fizz bag. This week my long run was 28.5km, I then walked back to my parents house about a mile and a half or so and felt fine and dandy. This morning however I did a few rigorous strokes in the forty-foot got out, walked back to car and hit the deck walloping my head of the bonnet (as you do!). I’m still all gay, sweaty and shaking much to my li’ll mofo bro’s amusement. Will possibly have to give the pub a miss tonight. Such a thing has never happened to me before plus when I look at what you do in the gym each day I don’t think I would be physical able yet at the same time I don’t think I am over doing it. Unless I am actually retarded and nobody will admit it to me surely this is not normal. Has such a thing ever happened to you?

Eva you little minx, you're making me jealous.
Nonny, fainting is horrible. Not nice at all. I haven't fainted in a long time and usually when I feel ropey it's because I've been out the night. I was knocked out one time in a kickboxing class and I vomited in my kick boxing class, but these days I'm inclined to take the drink a bit handy so no horror stories. ( also, since my old kicboxing teacher moved abroad, no more classes)
You're probably over doing it a wee bit, or not eating enough. Congrats on the run by the way, that's really something. You must feel so delighted.
With regards to the weights, the trick it to build up slowly- not much of a trick really- , split your training. It' better to do a lift well and keep form that over do it. I find it's easier to concentrate on diferent parts of the body on different days and give your muscles time to recover. Also having sets really helps so that you don't train to failure, which doesn't suit a lot of folk. Also make sure you keep yourself well hyrdated. I know all these things are obvious, but sometimes when you get caught up in training, you neglect something and pay for it later.
Hope you feel feel better. I'm off to watch the rugby.

My general rule of thumb is that you shouldn't eat anything that is bigger than your head. But I suppose you're okay as the steak was only going to be the size of your head wasn't it? Having said that, you most probably need to eat something bigger than your head after all that exercise. Crikey, I had to have a cup of tea and a lie down after reading that. Actually that's a lie, I reached for a glass of wine. I can, it's night time down here.

mmmmwine, I remember wine, delicious chilled wine. Astrolabe, mmm, sigh.
It really is the devil's smegma keeping a 'rein' on one's drinking habits, especially if one would normally lick alcohol off a scabby leg. I cannot remember the last time I was drunk, good and properly drunk. And that is a terrible thing for any Irish woman to have to admit to.
