Smugglers coos.

Now, there are some people who panic when faced with flappy boids like pigeons. I'm not one of them. I like boids. But some people are REALLY fond of them it seems.

This hairy lumox was caught smuggling two pigeons into Australia.

"The 23-year-old man ( australian), who had come off a ten-hour flight from Dubai, was also allegedly carrying plant seeds in a money belt, two bird eggs in a vitamin container in his pocket, and eggplant samples in his bag when he was stopped at Sydney airport."
( Mirror)

Seriously. Some folk.

They're super duper strict about anything coming into Australia, even between states there you can get stopped and searched in case you have fruit, honey, seeds, wood etc in your car or on your person. We got stopped going from Victoria into South Australia and we had to eat our apples before we were allowed to continue.
I remember when I arrived after about 36 hours awake, mostly on a plane or in an airport, alone, no sleep, puffy face from crying and this official came over to me and was asking me about wood "do you have any wood or flowers or honey in your back back" I was really antsy with him and saying things like "I am just trying to find my friend no I don't have flowers in my rucksack are you mental" he didn't take to kindly to me, oops. Also got stopped in every airport I was in and swabbed for drugs, I thought I looked dodgy or something until I asked one of the customs people, she told me that they stop every second person. Crazy!
Pigeons down your trousers? Were they alive I wonder!? And also has he never watched Border Control? they catch everyone there!

Would have been a hell of a long trip mind you.

Puddy is back from the vets and cheerfully making my lower legs uncomfortably numb. I feel a Floyd moment coming on.

Imagine sitting beside him? 'Sir, have you got ants in your pants? Or two pigeons?'

Weird.

"A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush."

And quite a bush it must be, by the look of the legs.
